Thanks for the video and great tip with using that 2×6 diagonal support,..makes a lot of sense and these doors will likely be more than a temporary solution. I have a question about the use of the KM coatings and felt mesh on the exterior. I l looked up the product and see it's primarily used on roofs. Why did you choose to apply this specific coating rather than paint? Are these doors located on a stucture in the northeast or one with a lot of seasonal moisture?

I'm at the very BEGINNING of the project and something like this – not just for the END : ) Garage doors are 16 weeks out right now, which is make-believe, anyway. Why would I trust that something will come in in 16 weeks – nobody to install, anyway. Who's running this country?
Great idea for saving some money. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Nice design. Can you tell me where you got the heavy duty hinges. I need some and can’t fine heavy duty. Thank you in advance.
Very Cool and I lovw Swing out type as shown. Also A garage door opener still works on these type too. i enjoyed the video.
Where did you get those hinges?
Why would you not "use it that much"?
I'm wanting to make a garage door system that swings out like that. Im.in Florida, so heat and humidity are rough.
And don’t drop it on your foot…
Just the info we were looking for! Thanks!
Cool. Do you also have a video for hanging the door? Thanks
This is great, thanks do you have a detailed video of the build?
