Hi Nuru, many thanks for sharing a great video! I am in Ontario and have just started building a floating deck very similar to yours but am bit unsure whether we can have post base/footing above frost line and will it cause problems like heaving during winter. Appreciate if you could share your valuable feedback. Thankyou !

Nice job , made simple.
Great Job! Btw, what is your deck height? Do you need railings around it? This is exactly my patio door to ground height and I am thinking to build my deck like this! I am going to build 12×2 to have enough room for a gazebo 10×10 seating 4-6 people. How many post do I have to put? Thank you.
Btw, i m in Ontario. Does city need a permit on this since your patio stairs is leading or attaching to the main floating deck. Thank you very much for any reply.
Nice work brudda, like to see next vid with rails. Well done, keep it up
Very good video I watched the whole thing.
very nice work
why would you dig 2.5-3 feet down and make it so low? You were easily far enough down to for support so you could raise the deck a little higher so it lined up level with your patio door. Is it only because you wanted a floating deck instead of lag bolting ledger boards? Doing that would've been barely any more work for you. Unless you were trying to avoid needing a permit? Or because you didn't want to cover that basement window?
Where can I buy the concrete that looks like that ?
Did your Deck required a permit? what is the total height? thanks. looks great.
hey do you have a link to the metal post caps displayed at 1:48 or do you know what they are called I cant find them online.
Looks nice! Well done. My local stores don’t carry the same footer design you used. I like the hole in the center. Gives you more options. Good job. 👍
